Timing belt replacement
The timing belt is the most important belt in your engine. If it fails, valves or the cylinder head may be damaged and the repair becomes expensive – so replace it on time.

What does a timing belt service include?
The toothed timing belt drives the camshaft and usually also the water pump, running over a tensioner and idler pulleys. If any of these parts fails, the engine can be badly damaged. We use OE-equivalent quality parts.
The service includes
- Timing belt replacement
- Tensioner and idler pulleys
- Water pump (recommended at the same time)
- Auxiliary belt check
- Coolant top-up and bleeding
When should the timing belt be replaced?
The interval depends on the engine and is usually given in both kilometres and years – whichever comes first. We check the right interval for your car. If you do not know when the belt was last changed, it is safest to replace it.
