When the check engine light comes on
The light means the engine management has detected a fault – for example in ignition, fuel supply, emissions or sensors. If the light is flashing or the car runs badly, avoid driving and contact us. With a steady light you can usually drive carefully to the workshop, but get it checked soon.

Is clearing the code enough?
No. Clearing only turns the light off temporarily if the cause remains. We find and fix the cause.
