Do you drive a 2018 or newer Volkswagen, Skoda or Seat with a 2.0 TDI engine? Has the message “Gearbox malfunction, please visit a workshop” appeared on the dashboard, or does the fault memory show the codes P173500 or P173600?
What causes the fault?
It is often a fault in the pressure sensors of the DQ381 gearbox mechatronic unit. The DQ381 is a 7-speed wet-clutch DSG gearbox used in many newer VAG Group models.
Repair or mechatronic replacement?
Many workshops recommend an expensive mechatronic replacement. IVERA offers a much cheaper and equally reliable repair:
- Repair work €1,585 in total
- The latest revision pressure and position sensors, seals and bolts are replaced
- The DSG gearbox oil and filter are changed at the same time (part of the maintenance schedule, separately €270)
- A reliable repair with warranty
If your car has these symptoms or fault codes, get in touch. We will get your car back on the road affordably, reliably and with a warranty.
