BMW coding and programming in Espoo

In a modern BMW many parts have to be coded to the car after replacement so that they work correctly. We do coding, adaptations and software updates with BMW diagnostics.

What we code and program

  • Coding after part replacement: e.g. battery, control units, injectors and headlights
  • Adaptations and basic settings: gearbox, windows, sunroof, steering angle sensor
  • Software updates to control units with the manufacturer’s software
  • Feature activation for equipment already fitted to the car, where technically possible
  • Service reminder (CBS) reset and service data update

Tell us what you want done – we check the car’s equipment and software version from the registration number and VIN before the work.

Frequently asked questions

Why does a BMW part need to be coded after replacement?

Many BMW control units and parts communicate with and recognise each other. A new part has to be introduced to the car so that it works correctly and no warning lights come on.

Can extra features be activated on a BMW?

Some functions of equipment already fitted to the car can be activated or changed by coding. We check in advance what is possible on your car.

How much does BMW coding cost?

BMW coding and programming starts from €149. Tell us what you want coded or which part was replaced, and we will give you an exact price in advance.
