2.0 EcoBlue – a timing belt running in oil
In Ford’s 2.0 EcoBlue diesel the timing belt runs in engine oil. It wears faster if the oil is the wrong grade or the oil change interval is stretched, and material from a worn belt can block the oil pump pick-up screen. That is why we always use original parts and oil that meets the manufacturer’s specification.

Transit timing belt interval
Ford Transit and Transit Custom – timing belt interval: it depends on the engine and model year, and it is given both in kilometres and in years (whichever comes first). We check the manufacturer’s interval with your registration number – tell us the mileage and when the belt was last replaced. Vans that are driven a lot or idle for long periods should have the belt replaced in good time.

Which vans fit our lift? Up to length class L2 and a gross weight of 4.5 tonnes (including the load). There is no height limit, so high-roof models are fine. The longest Sprinters and Crafters (L3/L4) unfortunately do not fit – ask with your registration number if unsure.
