BMW electric car and plug-in hybrid service
We service BMW electric cars and plug-in hybrids – for example the i3, i4, iX, 330e and 530e – to the manufacturer’s schedule. An electric car still needs regular servicing, even though there is no engine oil to change.

Frequently asked questions
How often does a BMW i3 or i4 need servicing?
The service interval of BMW electric cars is set by the CBS system, typically about every two years. Brakes, brake fluid and suspension should be checked regularly, because the brakes are used little and rust.
Will my EV warranty stay valid if IVERA services the car?
Yes, when the service follows the manufacturer’s instructions. EU competition rules do not require servicing at a franchised dealer.
Do you also service BMW plug-in hybrids?
Yes. We service models such as the 225xe, 330e, 530e and X5 xDrive45e: combustion engine service, brakes, suspension and the 12-volt battery. A plug-in hybrid service costs from €390.
