Turbo repair and replacement

We diagnose turbocharger faults and replace or recondition turbos for all car makes – petrol and diesel.

Many “turbo faults” are really a leaking hose, a boost pressure sensor or a control valve – so we check the cause before an expensive turbo replacement.

Symptoms of a turbo fault

  • Loss of power or limp mode
  • Whistling, whining or siren-like noise under acceleration
  • Blue or black smoke from the exhaust
  • Higher than usual oil consumption
  • Boost pressure fault codes (e.g. P0299 underboost)

The repair starts with a diagnosis (€95/h). Once the cause is clear, we give you an exact cost estimate for the turbo repair or replacement – we only start the work after you have approved the price. 12-month warranty on work and parts.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a turbo replacement cost?

It depends on the engine and on whether the turbo can be repaired. The repair starts with a diagnosis (€95/h), after which you get an exact estimate.

What does fault code P0299 mean?

P0299 means the boost pressure stays below target. The cause can be the turbo, but just as often a leaking boost hose, a boost pressure sensor or a control valve – diagnostics finds out which.
