Brake pad and disc replacement in Espoo
We replace brake pads and discs for all makes – always in pairs per axle and to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Send your registration number for the price: tell us whether it is the front or rear brakes and we will quote parts and labour before starting.

Pads only, or pads and discs?
Brake pads wear in use, and the discs wear more slowly along with them. We measure disc thickness and check the surface: if the discs are within limits and free of rust, grooves and run-out, new pads are enough. Discs below minimum thickness, rusty or warped are replaced together with the pads.
In Finnish conditions rear brake discs in particular rust and calipers can stick, because the rear brakes are used less. That is why we always check the calipers move freely when doing brake work.

Frequently asked questions
How much does brake pad replacement cost?
It depends on the model, the axle and whether the discs are replaced too. Send your registration number and we will quote parts and labour in advance.
How often should brake pads be replaced?
There is no fixed interval: depending on driving style and car, pads typically last about 30,000–70,000 km. Front brakes usually wear faster than rear brakes. We check pads and discs at every service.
Do discs always need replacing with the pads?
Not always. If the discs are within limits and the surface is good, pads alone are enough. Rusty, warped or worn-out discs are replaced.
Are brakes replaced in pairs?
Yes. Pads and discs are always replaced on both sides of the same axle so braking stays even.
Can you replace rear brakes on a car with an electronic parking brake?
Yes. On cars with an electronic parking brake, the rear brakes are replaced in the diagnostic service mode so the parking brake motors are not damaged.
